Before the lockdown began,Tips on How to Enjoy More Things to do in Lockdown Articles we frequented several sports that provided entertainment for us. But, with the lockdown in effect, those hours are now spent indoors with the same activities repeated repeatedly, and it is now a bore.  Ideas on how to keep ourselves entertained have been spent over the months. Well, we have more options for you likedance classes & more. Here are a few ways to enjoy more things during the lockdown.

  • Write a book:

Perhaps that idea or storyline has been sitting in your head, and you have been waiting for the right moment to put that first word down. Here is your opportunity. It doesn't have to be chapters and pages; you could jot down a few ideas and see how it goes from there. Start something, a word, or a phrase, and you may never know what will happen.

  • Write a song:

The songs you listen to were not written by people who woke up one morning with musical genius powers. That line you hum in the kitchen, those notes you play around when you take out the trash, the words you add to an instrumental that you like. Pick a note or a paper and a pen and write.

You could also listen to some of your favorite songs for more inspiration.

  • Learn a language:

You must have watched a movie in another language, or even a video, and thought to yourself, "I wish I could speak that language; I love how it sounds."  There are so many learning apps like Duolingo, Memrise that offer aid in learning other languages for free. You could also go on the internet, where there are thousands of videos and tutors ready to help you begin the journey of becoming bilingual.

  • Give your home a makeover:

With time on your hands and your creative juices flowing, you might as well revamp your home. Change a few things, spruce up a couple of decorations, and add a little spice. Or, you could go all the way, your choice. You have all the time you need to put into effect the change you have always wanted.

  • Learn to cook:

Something your busy schedule and daily rush hour do not offer you is to make your meals. Sometimes, all you have time for is a quick cup of coffee before you are out the door. This lockdown is an excellent time to create your favorite recipes, try out new ones, and brush up on your culinary skills.

  • Take a course:

Whether you are looking to take up a new hobby, improve your professionalism, leadership skills, or start a new business, now is the time to take a course. Many sites, including Future Learn, Skillshare, have a host of online courses available for you. There are even universities offering online classes for individuals who want to goback to school.

Conclusion

There are so many things that you can do this lockdown to keep yourself entertained and productive. It doesn't have to be a life-changing decision. Something as simple as watching a different genre of movie and listening to a podcast will work, as long as it has you removing your boring shoes and wearing the "happy" ones.
