On the evening that this UFO sighting occurred, there were many who witnessed the event and video taped the event as proof that this sighting actually did occur right here in Phoenix, Arizona. Local residents reported that they witnessed what was described as appearing and disappearing UFO lights that hovered above the city near the Estrella Mountains.

Just as recent as January 9th, 2007, there was yet another witness who was driving in the east valley when he saw some lights that were set low in the sky. This witness believes that these peculiar lights were in the area Gold Canyon, Arizona, which is approximately 35 minutes from the Phoenix metro area.
Witnesses described the lights as being lined up as if they were in a straight line. This particular eyewitness went on to say that the the light on the far left side was turning on and off on a routine basis.
