If a team is to reach its potential,Working together on the go- the spirit of a team Articles each player must be willing to subordinate his personal goals to the good of the team. - The American football player Charles Burnham "Bud" Wilkinson has expressed the true colour of a team spirit in every field.

“A triumph of the human spirit” is the correct way to describe the achievements with a deep reservoir of potential and possibility. The team spirit is a powerful force which exists within each one of us. In daily use the term team spirit is often referred in connection with single work teams and corporate culture. In fact team spirit is the base when it comes to a concrete action and building organizational spirit requires increasing spirit of a particular work team. Spirit is something you certainly can’t buy it may lay dormant in many and it inspires great thoughts and great actions. Team spirit is vital to company success.

Leaders in every work place talk about building an effective team but few people understand how to create an effective team. Belonging to a warm team is a result of feeling part of something larger than individual. It has a lot to do with the objectives of an organization.

A leader shouldn’t have to ask his/ her team to fake enthusiasm. Instead, he/ she should try building a team culture which makes co-workers want to work by his own spirit because they are treated honestly and respectfully. Ideas can creep up in a team and team members should know how to use it.  In every office where team members should be a allowed to scribble ideas. You never know what can come out of it, or if another team member can turn your jumbled thoughts into a usable idea.  A leader needs to encourage creativity and give the team a space to think, create and just doodle.

One can find it strange when organizations don’t bring their team together to share experiences and see what each other are involved in and a team member may not even know what the person sitting right next to him is supposed to be doing. By sharing ideas with the group one can identify ways to stand by each other up, eliminate redundancies, and encourage partnership by utilizing each other’s expertise, ideas and contacts. One should keep an open bond with and between your team. There are many team building events are often extracurricular, taking place outside the office, and are usually a mix of work oriented and purely social activities. Their purpose is to effectively break down barriers between individual team member and departments and foster an esprit de corps among employees. However an ethos of teamwork has to be maintained against goals and responsibilities for each employee. Team working events and policies need a careful planning and execution. Although an emphasis on the spirit team work brings a host of benefits - from helping to bond colleagues to working collaboratively - it is important that it should not become an excuse for staff to shirk their individual obligations and targets. Team working has to fit within the pace of individual responsibility and goal. The team members should understand why the team was created.  The team members need to expect their skills to grow and develop on the team and welcome the challenges by the team opportunity. It is important that the individual retains clear ownership of their objectives and the business benefits they are responsible for delivering. The link between the team members who work closely in a team and an energetic, productive work place has been recognised as the best team spirit for decades.
