In the perspective of a national economic development- necessary for the recovery of Italy and Europe from the economic crises of the past years- the investments on renewable energies represent the turning point according to many environmental associations and many economics experts and professionals in the building field.

In December in Milan took place the meeting Green 3.0 to which participated members from the main Italian companies which work in the field of renewable energies,Renewable Energies and electricity grid Articles who met to discuss the strategies that Italy is currently using , and the potential development points, in addition to the appropriation of funds by the Government.

Despite the non homogeneous of the specific field from which came the speakers who intervened in the meeting, most of them agreed on the fact that the essential steps towards a proper development of the alternative energy policies in Italy have to pass through a renovation of the industrial politics , that must first of all offer normative certainties.

Very briefly it seems that the future of the field should be founded o smart grid, electric mobility and on the progressive but essential drop out of carbon. According to the data exposed at the meeting, emerging fields like the production of biomass energy from animal excrement, have increased in 2011 reaching +120%, while according to what Andrea Cuomo- President of 3sun S.r.l.- said, photovoltaic is less productive as it represents now just 1% of the Italian market.

Also the European Union has recently faced the theme of renewable energies as it recently has defined the orientation of the EU policies about green energy; December 3rd indeed the “Energy” Councilman have discussed about the next guide lines, which will lead in the future to a long-time planning for industry and investors; long run perspective seems to be the ideal solution as it would be a positive incentive for investments, improving the economic and environmental sustainability.

The conclusion emerged from the European summit, leads to the consideration of renewable energies as the biggest purpose for the UE in the long-run period, and moreover as the vehicle for the development of a low-emission economy, that can guarantee at the same time safety, energetic supply and the competitiveness; there have been discussed moreover the future strategies, to be applied after 2020, year in which Europe should reach the objective of 20% of the energy production from renewable energies.

The calendar of the priorities defined for the interventions on renewable energy sources deals in particular with the improvement of renewable energies with the electric energy market and new sustainability systems for international cooperation and trade. For what concerns the first point in particular, the Commission is working together with the control authorities and with the concerned parties in order to level the law of the market and of the electricity grid, in order to satisfy the request of the Chiefs of State and of Government for the completion of the internal energy market by 2014.
