It takes money and time in order for one to shop for stuffed animals. There are people who just love such animals and will buy them with every chance they get in order for their collection to grow. For one, it is important that the place where we keep our collect is dry as possible. This is because stuffed animals tend to sock up water and moisture as well. When this happens, the place could become stuffy and the animals could develop some moulds because of the presence of water that support its growth. Moulds cause damage by destroying the appearance of our collection and at some point; moulds are considered to be a health hazard especially where children are involved. The area should also be away from direct sunlight and dust. Sunlight makes the collection to look dull because too much sunlight can cause their colors to fade. On the other hand, when there is a lot of dust accumulation, our collections get dirty fast.

Washing of the stuffed animals’ collection is also important. We cannot eliminate all dust particles in the air. At some point the collection is bound to collect enough dust to grow into dirt thus washing will be necessary. You can machine wash the collection or do it gently by rubbing them with a smooth piece of cloth in soapy water. Do not use too much soap as rinsing it off will become a problem as much water will be required. Dry your collection in direct sunlight so that they dry up quickly. Frequent washing is discouraged and as a way to avoid washing, regular dusting is recommended.

Caring for stuffed animals especially if they are a collection might mean keeping them away from children. When children play with anything, they tend to cause damage to them. Enough damage to your collection will mean you have no collection at all. So it is better to get your child a few of their own collection to play with.
