Is Charleston new construction not meeting your expectations?  If you’ve been searching for a new home recently,River Green Place:  A New Construction Community in Charleston, SC Articles you may have noticed a shortage in inventory.  The builder boom of 2005 through 2008 resulted in much of Charleston’s raw land becoming developed.  Not only is there less readily available land, but also new home prices have risen over the past six months.

                                                    

It’s now more important than ever to find a Charleston real estate agent if you’re wanting to buy a new construction home.  Instead of trying to locate new communities throughout the tri-county area, you can let your agent simply send you the information you want and drive you to tour the model homes (or homes under construction) that might meet your needs.  For example, River Green Place is one of the newest communities on Daniel Island, and it offers luxurious townhomes built by David Weekley Homes. 

River Green Place is located on the Park side of Daniel Island.  Being on the Daniel Island Park side means that you have access to the Daniel Island Park Clubhouse, which can be used to entertain guests or for dining.  Tennis courts, the fitness center, and the community’s swimming pool are all included in the clubhouse membership.  The Park side also includes two golf courses by Tom Fazio and Rees Jones, which are nationally ranked.

The entire community is made up of thousands of acres of expansive marshlands, grand oak trees, common area parks, ponds, 23 miles of walking and biking trails, play parks for the kids, views of the Wando and Cooper Rivers, shops, restaurants, a grocery store, a daycare, public and private schools, a gas station, a church, the Family Circle Tennis Center, and much more.

As of now, in River Green Place, there are a couple of floor plans to consider.  The Maybank floor plan starts around $600K, is about 2,600 square feet, has 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a 2 car garage, and is only 1 story.  This is a perfect plan for anyone who wants a low maintenance home or a home with no stairs.  The second floor plan is called The Adgers, and pricing starts at approximately $645K.  This home is over 3,500 square feet, has 3 bedrooms, and 2 or 3 full baths.  The home is 2 stories and has a 2 car garage, as well. David Weekley’s design center has an abundance of choices to customize your home just the way you want.
