For those Texans who are particular about their barbecue, Soulman’s Bar-B-Que has you covered! Our down-home recipes have been winning over families for generations, and we continue to serve high-quality, delicious, and fresh barbecue that keeps everyone coming back for more.
Soulman’s Bar-B-Que has been a staple in Texas since 1974, when we first opened our doors in Pleasant Grove. Our slow-cooked barbecue quickly became a hit, and families from all over the metroplex flocked to our restaurant to satisfy their cravings. The demand was so high that we soon expanded to multiple locations across North Texas.
Today, Soulman’s Bar-B-Que boasts over 15 locations, including Allen, Cedar Hill, Forney, Garland, Greenville, Hurst, Lancaster, Mesquite, Quinlan, Rockwall, Royse City, Terrell, Van, and Lewisville. Rockwall BBQ lovers, in particular, have shown such enthusiasm that we had to open two separate locations to meet their needs.
At Soulman’s, we pride ourselves on preparing our recipes the same way our families did—fresh and in-house every day. From the first bite of our sliced brisket to the crunch of our creamed corn, your taste buds will revel in the freshness and perfected recipes.
We offer a wide range of meat options to cater to every palate, including:
Whether you prefer your meat regular, lean, or with a little extra flavor, we’ll cut it to your liking. You can pile your meat high or choose a little bit of everything from our meal options or a la carte selections.
Our barbecue goes great with everything. You can enjoy it in a sandwich, slap it on our Soul Bowl, or build on our Big Time Taters. Our self-serve sides are the perfect addition to the main course, featuring:
And don’t forget to wash it all down with our specially brewed sweet tea.
Did you know that Texas is home to over 2,000 barbecue restaurants? According to the Texas Restaurant Association, barbecue is a $1 billion industry in the state. Additionally, a survey by the National Barbecue Association found that 75% of Americans own a grill or smoker, and Texas ranks as the top state for barbecue consumption.
Soulman’s Bar-B-Que continues to be a beloved destination for barbecue lovers across North Texas. With our commitment to quality, freshness, and flavor, we ensure that every visit is a memorable one. So, whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, come and experience the best barbecue Texas has to offer.
