While it may indeed not cause any injury to the eyes and vision, muscle strain can be uncomfortable at times because you can have watery eyes sometimes dry eyes and there are those who experience headache and complain that they have difficulty in focusing. So better not wait before this happens, whenever you find yourself reading for a couple of minutes now, take the time to stop for a while and stare at the distance or just close them for a little bit before resuming.
