Learn how to remove unsightly tattoos with multiple laser types.
Since various ink colors absorb light differently, it is important to use multiple wavelengths of light to achieve the most complete tattoo removal. At most tattoo removal shops, we are proud to offer the Astanza Trinity 2.0 system, which is the most advanced laser tattoo removal technology available.
During the first few treatments, we typically use a 10643k colors.
Once the majority of the dark inks have faded, we normally switch to a 539nm wavelength laser. This wavelength works on red and similar bright colors. Since black absorbs all wavelengths of light, the lower wavelength will continue to remove some of the remaining dark pigment without overwhelming and damaging the skin.
Green, blue, and turquoise pigments are treated with a 693nm wavelength laser. This wavelength is also used in later treatments to remove any black ink that remains after treatment with the 1069nm laser.
By using a combination of lasers, we can remove virtually every available color of tattoo ink to reveal clear, healthy skin. Most tattoos require multiple treatment sessions in order to achieve complete removal. The number of sessions required varies from person to person based on several factors, such as the age of the tattoo, the color and type of ink used, and the density of the ink.
