Rhinoplasty Two Different Ways
The rhinoplasty procedure can be performed two different ways. The traditional procedure involves a scalpel and laser depending upon the experience of the surgeon. The non-surgical procedure utilizes diluted Botox injections to alter the shape of one's nose.
The nose is a very important feature to the symmetry and beauty of the overall face. If it is too big or too small for the other features then it stands out,
if it is crooked then it stands out. It is safe to say that all patients participating in rhinoplasty procedures want their nose to blend in with and complement their entire face not stand out. Although the nose does sit out on the face, patients don't want it to be the focus of anyone's attention especially their own. When someone is unhappy about a distinguishing feature such as the nose it tends to bother them until they do something about it. Nowadays, each patient has a choice of the type of nose job or rhinoplasty procedure they would like to receive. The choice truly depends on the type of issue that the patient has with his or her nose. On one hand, the traditional rhinoplasty procedure is provided to the mass majority of nose job patients. There are two methods of incision that can be applied to the base of the nostrils and center cartilage of the nose in order to reach the bone, cartilage and skin that provide the reshaping of one's nose. This type of nose job is designed to shrink or realign the nose. It can focus on the bump in the nose bone, asymmetry of the nostrils, or large noses overall. The success of the rhinoplasty is dependent upon the surgeon's level of expertise in their specialization. One's natural nose, regardless of how unhappy a patient may be with what genetics gave them, it is still a part of biological artistry that formed it into a nose. Now, with the advent of plastic surgery, each patient is asking their surgeon to revision their nose in the idea of the size and shape that they'd dreamt about. On the other hand, there are patients with small asymmetry issues or an incredibly thin nose that they wish to reshape with the use of a Botox nose job. The Botox nose job is when a plastic surgeon can take a small amount of diluted (scientific name) solution and inject it into areas of the nose. He or she can manipulate the shape of the nose with the injections. Patients can enjoy the benefit of the nose shape that they find more desirable for up to six months as the solution gradually dissipates. Whether a patient is completing a traditional rhinoplasty or a Botox nose job, the expert execution of the procedure is truly up to the patient having a clear vision for the outcome and the skill level of the surgeon from there the patient can just enjoy their new nose.
