Before we look at possible treatments for hemorrhoids we will look at how to prevent them ever coming back (or how to prevent getting them in the first place!). This way, once you have applied the correct hemorrhoid treatment you will not have to worry about them again.

Hemorrhoid Prevention Tips

If you need to defecate try not to hold on - find a toilet! Otherwise you are at risk of constipation - a common cause of internal hemorrhoids.

If possible, avoid straining your anal muscles overly whilst on the toilet. Straining is a very common cause of hemorrhoids and with the right diet (high fiber) it can usually be avoided.
Drink plenty of liquids! Your body needs 8 glasses of water per day just to keep it running properly, so try your best to drink them.
