There are many ways to combat acne these days. Several years ago many people did not the contributing factors to acne breakouts,The Acne Diet: 4 Foods To Decrease Acne Breakouts Articles however with the right research we are able to determine some foods that can actually reduce the severity of acne breakouts. Heres a great acne diet that you can incorporate into your lifestyle.
There are 4 food groups that we are going to focus on: Lean Proteins, Zinc-Rich Foods, High Fiber Foods and finally Antioxidants (strawberries, blueberries and others)
Lean Proteins
Including lean proteins in your diet like chicken, beef and fish can decrease the onset of acne breakouts. Lean proteins have been proven to decrease the productions of enzymes which stimulate skin oil production. This reduction in skin oil will actually allow the skin to breath and eliminate acne currently on the surface of the skin. Since acne occurs because of excess oil and toxins within the skin, add lean protein to your diet and you will automatically decrease skin oil production. Eat black beans, tofu and seitan and try to avoid foods that are high in saturated fats.
Zinc-Rich Foods
Adding zinc-rich foods to your diet can be very beneficial to your skin and reduce acne breakouts. Zinc contain anti-bacterial properties which cleanses the skin and removes toxins from within the blood stream. Toxin left within the blood stream would have otherwise travelled to the surface of the skin. Foods that are high in zinc are soy-beans, sunflower seeds and whole nuts. There are several others which can be found on the internet by searching “high zinc-foods”.
High Fiber Foods
These foods have the same effect on acne as zinc-rich foods. They eliminate toxins from the skin and blood which otherwise would have accumulated forming acne. High fiber foods are easier to incorporate into your diet since much of them are vegetables like broccoli, spinach, artichokes including nuts.
Foods Containing Antioxidants
Some very delicious foods contain high antioxidants which can help clear up your skin. Antioxidants promote healthy skin cells growth and cleanse the blood of toxins. They are very easy to incorporate into your diet because most of them are found in strawberries, blueberries, flax seed oil, walnuts.
These are available almost at any local grocery store and that’s why including them in your diet is easy and beneficial to do.
Drink Plenty Of Water
The benefits of water have long been discussed in many seminars and much research has been performed. Water is the earths most natural resources and is easily available. Your body naturally contains so much water and the cleansing system of your body works by using water stored within your body. However, sometimes your body disposes of water and needs to be refilled in order to complete the blood and skin cleansing job. Drinking water keeps the toxin removal process going and can keep cleaning the surface of your skin. It is available right in your kitchen.
Drink about 8 glasses of water daily.
