What is Neograft
Male pattern baldness is something that a lot of people fight with. Neograft is an innovative way to transplant hair into the spot so you can have a natural looking head of hair.
If you’ve been plagued with a receding hair line then you know how embarrassing it can be. There are many different options out there to help you battle the ever growing forehead problems. Many of them promise natural looking or real hair to take the place of your ever growing bald spot. There is a new hair replacement system that you should consider if you are thinking about having some sort of surgical procedure performed. Neograft is a new way to change that bald spot.
If you are interested in neograft you are probably wondering how it’s performed. Well,
like some of the other hair transplant surgeries you’ve probably heard of the donor hair is located on the back of the head. These donor follicles are removed and placed in areas where the hair has been lost. What makes this procedure different from others is that they use a device that is quick and painless. The device uses pneumatic pressure to slide the graft out, rather than yanking it out. The donor follicles come out smoothly and there is little chance of damage this way. It is also faster than other methods which mean that the graft can be re-implanted quicker giving you better results.
With Neograft you’ll see results soon. The graft, which is living tissue and will have some hair still attached, will be in place for around three weeks and then the existing hair in the graft should shed. This can take place at about two weeks for some people. It is a completely normal step in re-growing your hair. You should see re-growth in around three to four months. It’s normal for it to take this long and it’s important you just give it time to grow naturally. Once it’s grown back in, it should grow like normal.
Unfortunately you can’t stop the balding process. With mail patter boldness hair loss does still continue, even after you’ve had the neograft procedure. There is a chance that you will need further sessions to maintain the density that you desire. You may also need further maintenance to continue having the head of hair that you desire. How often and how many sessions you’ll need will vary from patient to patient. It all depends on what your balding pattern is and what you want your hair to look like.
To determine that you’ll need to discuss that during your consultation. If you don’t want that embarrassing bald spot then you can do something about it. Neograft is great for those who have a spot that they want to cover and plenty of hair towards the back of your head to cover it up. The hair on the back will grow back after the transplant so don’t worry about sacrificing one area of your head to cover up another.
