Polyurethane

It also makes wood temperamental when staining. As you apply the polyurethane do not be surprised to see a coat of milky-white look since it will dry out after some time. Remember to stir the polyurethane finish well before you apply it to the floating cork flooring. Using water based polyurethane will not mix with oil stains. Ensure you make the surface rough with the use of synthetic steel wool. Oil and water will not mix thereby preventing possibilities of beading on the surface.
