How to Keep in Contact With Your Network Marketing Leads
If there was ever a phrase that's been uttered more in Internet marketing, it's the money's in the list. So what exactly is a list?
If you're not sure how to even get a list to begin with then let me say it all starts by having a lead capture page. A lead capture page captures your potential prospects info – name,
email address, and sometimes phone number. You can set up your lead capture page to capture any kind of information you want to get from your potential prospects.
Now when I say the lead capture page “captures” information I mean that the page asks the person seeing the page for those specific information items mentioned above (name, email, etc). The prospect either decides to either give up their information in exchange for the information you've promised them on the lead capture page or not give up their info.
The key is to make your lead capture page enticing enough so that prospects want to give up their info in exchange for the juicy tidbits you're promising them.
Once prospects sign up to your list you can then begin the relationship process and in turn send them valuable tips and offers at your leisure. This is why they say the money's in the list because you can promote to your list as you wish but you must not be too overly promotional to the point people are turned off by you and unsubscribe from your list.
How to Keep in Contact
You keep in contact with your list with your autoresponder service or your autoresponder software. Since autoresponder services (Aweber and Get Response are two of the tops) are easier to use and have a higher deliverability rate it's best to stick with those.
The only downside is that you can't send a message to just one person. You'll have to use your personal email service to do that for you.
You'll want to keep in constant contact with your leads which means you should be emailing them at least once per week.

Don't be discouraged by those that unsubscribe from your list – it happens to everyone. If people don't want to hear from you then they should do you and themselves a favor and unsubscribe.
Remember if people don't like you or don't want to hear from you then they're not likely to buy anything from you anyways. However if people are unsubscribing from your emails in droves you'll want to look at what kind of messages you're sending out. Remember, in the end you only want people on your list who want to listen to what you have to say.
If you want long-term success and financial reward remember the money is in the list.
