R+T, the most important fair in Europe as far as sun protection systems are concerned, has just begun.
The R+T Expo, from the 28th of February to the 3rd of March 2012 in Stuttgart, is a benchmark in the field of roller shutters, doors and gates and sun protection systems. The 2012 edition, which has just begun, will bring into the fairgrounds of the German city about 800 exhibitors coming from all over the world, to create a meeting ground for supply and demand, producers, distributors and buyers. A wide and prestigious showcase, which gives the possibility to all those who take part in the event as exhibitors to present their products and innovations to a competent and wide public, and to visitors to find a huge and varied offer.
It is no coincidence that R+T in Stuttgart is considered as one of the most important fairs of the sector, and every year the exhibition attracts visitors and professionals coming from all over Europe and beyond. The exhibition, which takes place every three years, will be back in the fairgrounds of the German city for its 19th edition, and is ready to welcome thousands of visitors: in 2009 almost 54,000 visitors arrived in Stuttgart, mostly coming from Germany (52%), but also from the rest of the world, above all France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Netherlands. Considering the numbers of the last edition, the first one that took place in the very modern fairgrounds near the airport of Stuttgart, expectations are very high also this year.
Many sectors will be present, to represent in the most complete and exhaustive possible way the wide and varied world of sun protections: from roller shutters to awnings, from Venetian blinds to interior sun protection systems, from technical textiles and textile construction to window shutters, from doors to windows, from electrical security equipment to fences, all the products this sector is made of will be exhibited on a surface of 100,000 m². Five days dedicated to the innovations of the sector, with a focus on hi-tech and all the novelties that can contribute to the efficiency, comfort and safety of buildings.
Rich as usual the event program, which includes the ES-SO Workshop, on the second day of the fair. This interesting workshop on solar protection and energy efficiency will include lectures – all held in English – on the opportunities and challenges that the sun protection industry has to face, and will focus especially on the energy efficiency issue. On the 1st of March, the fair will host the event dedicated to architects and planners “The Art of Planning – Forum on architecture and integral planning”, which will be attended by important names of the sectors, and will be focused on the current façade trends. Do not miss, on the same day, the seminar on digital printers and, on the 2nd of March, the BVT Doors/Gates Forum.
A rich and varied event program, which along with the wide exhibitory offer makes the R+T of Stuttgart a benchmark for all the companies and professionals working in the field of sun protection systems.
