If you are looking for a nice cheap option, it is best if you went to your local banks and found out about the reposed houses that they may be looking to get rid of. Here is where you will find the cheapest houses on the market. Sometimes you will even get lucky and find that there will be minimum damage to the house, and all you need to do is renovate.

However, most reposed houses are a bit run down, so fixing up will need to be done, but as said early, you do not need to worry about that, because you will be doing a little renovation anyway.

When you start renovating the house, make sure that you do not start with the flooring, because the rest of the renovating will mess up the new flooring that you will lay. What you want to start with are the roof and ceilings and then work your way down from there, this way you will have undamaged flooring at the end of your renovations.
