Model Options for Home Gun Safes

Many people want to have guns in their home for hunting, target practice or for home and personal protection. In the United States the right to own firearms is protected, but it is also the responsibility of gun owners to keep their weapons safe from theft and handling by others that aren't experienced in safety. These very discreet types of safes are perfect for those that have a lot of different sizes and types of weapons or those that have a limited storage area in the home. Bed safes are very secure and, because of their design, typically missed by thieves even if the home is invaded. These safes, like all gun cabinets, are designed to be tamper proof and highly resistant to any type of forced entry.

Executive types of gun safes are designed with security and storage capacity in mind. These are definitely the option for the serious gun collector or someone that has a lot of valuables to store within their home, apartment or office. Very close in appearance to an old style bank vault, these safes make a great addition to any trophy room or living space without being highly obvious as a gun safe. Resistant to fire, these safes will keep interior materials protected for up to 2 hours even in fires that reach temperatures of 1850 degrees Fahrenheit, much hotter than the heat produced by the typical house fire.
