After all, redesigning any portion of your home can be overwhelming, especially when the options are endless. Step one is to carefully consider your family lifestyle and the space you have to work with.

Step two is to make it easy on yourself and begin by focusing on decorating your house one room at a time. Why not start with setting aside a place for you and your hobbies? Make your own personal space for painting, beadwork, sewing, etc. Or, create a cozy reading nook, or an area for the family to put puzzles together or play games. Whatever you decide to do, start with the lighting as it’s important to have the proper lighting. Next be sure to create the proper work surface with comfortable seating. Review the lighting and furniture room arrangement you currently own – there’s a good chance that you will be able to utilize items you already have.
