In some cases hiring more than one professional for a big project is the wisest thing to do. You might be able to find a variety of professionals who are all employed by the same business or you may have to hire tradespeople from different companies. The larger the scope of the project the more people you will need hire to offer you different services. For example you may need to hire an architect, an architectural technologist and/or a designer. The technologist or designed could prepare the plans and the permit application. The next stage would be to ask a contractor (or if you are still in the consultation state, a few potential contractors) to submit their quotes based upon the designer’s plans.
