Preity Zinta Tweets About Her Debutant Show On The Small Screen!

Big B and SRK made their presence on the small screen through the KBC platform, Salman became the boss in Bigg Boss- season 4, and now it is our own bubbly, dimply, million dollar smile holder Preity Zinta who is ready to hit the small screen through “Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega”!

Preity is in a highly spirited mood and eagerly waiting for the show to finally start. “Guiness World Records – Ab India Todega! Really excited as V just finished shooting da promo! Ting!” Preity zinta tweeted along with her picture from the promo soon after completing the promo for the show which she recently shot at Film City.

The promo too is quite interesting, the actress tries to move a heavy truck by fastening it at her waist with all her vigor and announces, “Australia ke Derek Boyer ka Guiness World Record aaj main todoongi.” When it appears immovable, she exclaims, “Chaliye main na kar saki toh kya hua? India kar ke dikha dega. Ab garv se har Hindustani bolega, Guinness World Record Ab India Todega!!”

Ab India Todega is the desi avatar of already famous international show from Miditech Pvt Ltd. that has already captivated millions of people across 90 nations. It will now be landing on Indian television through the platform of Colors Channel.  The show will be an embodiment of high spirits, hope, and never say die attitude, and so are the characteristics of its host!

Ashvini Yardi, Head, Programming of Colors says that Preity and the show are truly made for each other. The show will make its debutant appearance on Indian television and so will Ms. Zinta. The show is all about being high spirited, full of vigor and dynamism which perfectly suits with Zinta who is adventurous by nature, has great sense of humor, full of energy, and inspires never say die attitude!

Preity zinta too agrees that the show perfectly suits her personality, attitude, and ideology. She told the media that she always wanted such a show to start her career on the small screen which would match with her personality. “It will be fun 2 c Indians break & make new Guinness World records! So guys n girls… Hold ur breath!” posted Preity on her Twitter page.

Interestingly, the grape vine has it that Preity was not the only choice of the channel! They also approached Lara Dutta for the show as Zinta had some date related issues. But Lara was asking for unreasonably high fee for hosting the show which was impossible for the channel to pay. In the mean while Preity zinta sorted out her date related issue, and since she was the first choice of the channel they contracted with her. Now whither it is a rumor or fact only the channel people can say, but finally it is Preity Zinta making her debut on the small screen through the show!
