Steps to change Hotmail password

• If you are not yet logged in, you will be prompted to log into your account.
• Enter your Hotmail account login to log into your account.
• Click Next.
• You may be asked to generate a security code.
• Click send code and enter the code sent to your email. email address or phone number.
• You will need to enter your current password here.
• Go to the top of the window and enter the current password.
• Now enter the new password twice.
• Choose to force me to change my password every 72 days if you expect to change your password regularly.
• Click Next.
• Your password will be changed shortly.

To change your Hotmail password using a phone number:

• Open Outlook.com and enter your email. Email address.
• Go to the email below. email address section and click add account.
• The password entry page will open.
• Scroll down and click the Forgot Password icon.

• A new page will open with the CAPTCHA character set.

• Specify a recovery option for the phone number recovery account.

• In the lower right corner, you will see the option to send the code.
• Click on it to get a six-digit recovery code.
• Enter this code and set a new password.
• Enter a new password twice.

How to change your Hotmail password using an alternate email

• Open the password change page.
• Enter https://account.live.com/changepassword.aspx in your browser.
• Go to the top of the page and select the Forgot my password check box.
• Go to the bottom and click Next.
• Now enter your email from Hotmail, Live or Outlook. Email address.
• Enter the address to restore.
• Also enter your Skype name or phone number if you have added it to your account.
• Now after email. You will see the code in the text field of the email address.
• Enter this code in the characters shown in the field.
• Next to the code field, you will find a new icon to change your account.
• Note that the letters and numbers in the code field are case sensitive.
• You should now select the account recovery option.

• Click on the account recovery link and get two blank boxes to enter a new password.
