“Well, it all just looks so simple!” - don’t you just love it when people say that to you about something you’ve been working on for close to a year?
I love that statement because it means that I have pulled it off – I have done a great job and people have had an incredible experience. Here, specifically, I’m talking about hosting 3-day LIVE events for a room full of your ideal prospects.
Here in Canada, there’s a business supply store (STAPLES) that, in their TV commercials show a big RED button that says ‘EASY”! And to create and deliver a powerful, smooth 3-day event can be simple but it is, by no means, ‘easy’.
To keep it simple, let me tell you from ‘behind the scenes’ what did work!
1) WORK WITH A COACH.
2) CREATE A PLAN.
3) IDENTIFY A BUDGET.
4) FOLLOW THE PLAN.
5) HAVE A VISION AND THEME.
6) HAVE A STRONG AND EFFECTIVE TEAM TO SUPPORT YOU.
7) WORK HARD – CRY WHEN YOU NEED TO!
8) ENJOY SOME QUALITY CHOCOLATE AND TIME WITH GIRLFRIENDS.
9) HAVE FUN ALONG THE WAY.
10) BOUNCE BACK WHEN YOU HAVE SET-BACKS.
11) RECOGNIZE THERE WILL BE SOME VERY LONG DAYS AND LONG NIGHTS AND NO WEEKENDS!
12) HOLD THE VISION –
13) BE OF SERVICE WHEN YOU GET ON SITE.
14) RECOGNIZE THAT YOUR WORK HAS CHANGED LIVES.
Know and understand that hosting a major 3-day event for your target audience is not for the faint of heart. The majority of entrepreneurs are not prepared to take the risk involved with this kind of marketing activity – that already makes you a success.
Isn’t that what we, as women entrepreneurs are all about? Focus on your ‘why’ – stay close to your team – be of service to your prospects – hold the vision and you, too, can attract ideal clients, up-level your business – make lots of money and help the people who need what you have to offer.
You Have Got To Be Committed!
So many entrepreneurs are in for a rude awakening as they continue the search for the ‘EASY’ button – and still, feel stuck in their business.I’ve Hired a Business Coach – Now What
