never before we saw so many male and female fashion models walking the ramp; never before Indian fashion seemed to have a domination on the global fashion market. India is surely on its way to become a global phenomena in the world of fashion, though it  sill has a long way to go and show.

It's not that fashion is something new to Indians; it has always been with them, since time immortal, but it's gained a phenomenal momentum in the recent few decades. Today, one can see even top designers and models across the world coming to Indian Fashion events and sharing their views on fashion in this region.

Youths now dream to make it big in the fashion world, and their parents support them wholeheartedly. Gone is the time when talking about fashion or thinking about becoming a model was a taboo. Now, people have started seeing lots of career opportunities in it. Indian fashion is not just about being a model or a designer, there is a lot that goes into Indian fashion industry. Today, it creates millions of jobs, which further drives the economic growth of this country.

Budding models can register themselves with regional, national and international fashion magazines and boost their career opportunities. However, one should be quite careful when dealing with strangers. Never ever divulge your contact details to anyone and everyone. Have patience and don't take short-cuts, because short cuts never lead to long term success. It's only through hard work and patience that you will be able to make your mark in the industry. Do ensure that you have an impressive portfolio which could showcase your capabilities. Also don't forget that everyone in the industry won't be nice to you, and everybody won't be looking for you, for their events. A strong determination to succeed is the key to success here. Of course, contacts help, but even good contacts do not guarantee success. 

Male and Female fashion models have left an impressive mark on the global platforms and this will only continue to grow. And, same is the case with Indian fashion designers. However, this is just a beginning and a lot needs to be done to get to the ultimate destination and become a global phenomena. Till this happens, we all just need to keep our fingers crossed and witness the happenings.
