Quite by accident I found an article title I wrote got positions 1,4 and 10 out of over 1.5 million pages.

I just quickly wrote the title. But later when I discovered why I got this ranking I now continue to use it all the time. Even for this article.

The title was 'How To Write eBay Auction Descriptions That Get Bids'.

By adding 2 or 3 popular keywords in your title that people are likely to search on,Article Title Method That Got Me Number 1 On Google Articles you come up in the top results on Google. For some reason when these words come first Google ranks it high in the results.

This, however, doesn't work quite as well with your own website. Popular article sites, which host your article, however it does. And extremely well.

So what are the popular keywords. Well usually if your article is about something that people are interested in. Then they're likely to type these into Google.

Bear in mind that when we search most of us narrow our results down by typing phrases. If they put them in quotes and it exactly matches your article title you won't come up. But...

If they type word combinations in a logical sequence like they would appear as if they'd typed the phrase. This is where you can come at the top of the results.

Here are some examples:

Instead of typing the phrase "how to write ebay auction descriptions" you might, in order to get more results, type +write +ebay +auction +descriptions. Maybe you only put +ebay +auction +descriptions. If they did, they'd have got my article. They are in the correct order as in my title.

You may search for "how to write articles". If your article begins with this phrase you should be laughing. Most people would have typed "how to" +write +articles OR simply +write +articles. You seem to get better results if you uses three words in your title. Just make sure they're in the same order most searchers are likely to type them.

Try this technique yourself and you should get good results. Also more traffic via your bio to your website.
