Foundation: foundation is one such element that is used keeping in mind the skin tone of the user. In order to get finesse, the foundation should blend properly. Select the foundation that is close and of same color as your skin tone. Bronzer can always be used in case you need to add more color at the end. Foundation comes in two to three forms like stick, liquid and powder but the main point to keep in mind is that it should match your skin tone. Using a foundation is like painting a picture and your face acts as a canvas for the picture. To evenly apply the foundation all over the face you can always use a foundation brush. The foundation applied with the help of brush will last longer than if you apply it with your finger tips, as with finger tips you can add bacteria and oil on your face.
Apply foundation in a systematic manner starting from forehead and working down. Keep brushing downwards and you will make out soon that with the brush you don`t require much powder to put. The brush evenly distributes all of the powder on the whole face. After you end up with foundation session make sure that you don`t leave any uneven place.
Face powder: after foundation, the next step is to set your foundation using the face powder. For this also, use a brush.
Eyeshadow: always use eyeshadow colors of three different shades. The first shade you will use will be a lighter shade for your base to apply from eyelashes up to brows to even out eyelids tone. Now, to apply eyeshadow to your lower lid, the second shade will be used from crease to the whole lower eyelid. After the two shades, its time for the darkest shade, this will be a contour color. To apply eyeshadow, use again should use a brush.
Eyeliner: eyeliner enhances you the most beautiful feature of your face. To apply eyeliner, start on the top lid in the center of eyelid. Make sure that you use small strokes and start from insider corner to the middle and outside corner to the middle.
Lip liner: Before applying a lipstick or lip gloss, you should apply a lip liner. Applying lip liner before gives lips a nice shape and holds your lipsticks color in place.
Lip color: A good lip color is essential. Apply your lipstick or color with a lip brush for better results.
The above mentioned are just the basics of a face makeup routine, but that doesn`t mean that they are avoidable, rather the are the mandatory steps for any face makeup.
