An alleged road rage accident has Beverly Hills police searching for the driver of a white BMW who struck a bicycle rider then fled the scene. Per various reports, the cyclist suffered minor injuries after being caught next to a metal trash receptacle in an alley. Authorities were able to get footage of the vehicle and are on the lookout for its driver.
Lt. Lincoln Hoshino told reporters that surveillance video caught the BMW intentionally ramming the bicyclist until finally pinning him against a metal trash bin.
Per authorities the incident was a result of an April 3rd rush hour road-rage confrontation in which the bicyclist allegedly delivered a punched to the driver’s face. Then the driver threatened to kill the bicyclist and followed him into an alley and rammed the rider against the dirty garbage container.
Reports stated that the bike rider sustained non-life threatening injuries and now authorities are on the lookout for the luxury car driver on suspicion of attempted murder.
