Hello, Nike Air Hyperflight

Although this sounds a bit crazy, but today is indeed the NIKE Air Hyperflight tenth anniversary since its birth. Since June 16, 2001, Nike Basketball's Flight series had been the mark for the new Nike shoes trend, its streamlined appearance and futuristic design made a great contribution to the world shoes market. Its shining appearance adding with the imitation pearl effect materials created Hyperflight a high praise when it was listed, and the Hyperflight shelves were against a blank. Even so many years past, the shape design of these shoes is still can not be surpassed, no matter where you go you can see its shadow.
The perfect performance of Hyperflight throughout the 2000s, has proved that a new era of shoe industrial design was started. Eric Avar, as the designer of these shoes, has devoted more energy in the design process compare with other shoes, so the reward he had got was really deserved. Diiferent from the other shoes' design inspiration, a car, the simply athletes demand, or even the background under the shoes, his inspiration for this shoe was simply from one of the Nike Company partners.
The shoes design concept and inspiration were all come from Bill Bowerman, a coach of the Oregon University and the former Nike partner, even Nike Company had its own lightweight shoes design team. When Bill had made his great success of Nike, Avar was Just a layman of Nike, he learned from these processors and devoted all his heart into his career. Bill's life is very dramatic, his legacy and his once fortune in his life had all left to Nike.
For most people, they do not familiar with the story of Bill as the track coach of the legendary Oregon University. Bill was often help is athletes to reduce their shoes weight, and just because of the lightweight shoes, his team always won the first place in their games. Bowerman and Phi Knight together established the Nike Company. Because Bill has the economic minds, so he was responsible for the entire company's business and marketing. The large amount of Bill's practical and professional knowledge help him create the whole company's shoes design framework.
For Eric Avar, he spend the entire year of 2000 for the design of a new shoe, and also at time time he reminded the history of Bowerman's Nike story, thus became the inspiration of his design of Hyperflight. Avar said, "I have once seen Bill, and I know very well the significance of him to NIKE, and my design of Hyperflight is undoubtedly contributed to him". Bill's Nike spirit inspired Avar in his design of Hyperflight, and he admired Bill quite much.
At that time, the demand for basketball shoes, street ball culture, hip-hop appearance and the constantly promoting personality of the basketball players, the arrogance and fearless Hyperflight was ready to come.
Ten years past since the birth of Hyperflight, its design principle is still work in today's design requirement. When people look back the last ten years shoes changes, accompanied with the manufacture industry development, many companies make a great change in the use of the physical buffer of a molded plastic upper and stiff. But for Hyperflight series, the antiquated color and old design, it made constant failure and damaged and tarnished the reputation of Hyperflight, no one shoe can compare with the former Avar.
