The most well known places for their BMX events are definitely Las Vegas, Nevada, Phoenix, Arizona, Atlanta, Georgia, Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles, California. The X-Games take place in Los Angeles, California most years. There are more then one category in the X-Games, but a big one happens to be BMX riding. It is advertised in a various amount of magazines, such as Dig BMX, Ride BMX, and BMX Plus. It is one of the most popular events in the BMX history.Another BMX event is called the Dew Tour. The Dew tour takes place in Los Vegas, Nevada. It came over to the United States from Venezuela in 2006. There are always many competitors competing to win the big Dew Tour cup. The Toyota Challenge is a generic version of the Dew Tour, but still highly popular in the BMX world. It is sponsored by Wendy's, the Dew Tour, Element clothing, Rockstar Energy Drinks, Etnies Attire, and more. There are also major dirt BMX events that are very popular. The X-Games, the Gravity Games, the Dirt Dew Cup, Vans Triple Crown, and the King of Dirt.Chase Hawk is a professional BMX rider, and he has been riding since he was a kid. Austin, Texas is where he lives, and started his riding career. He has won at many events. He placed 14th in the 'Vans Let it Ride' competition in Las Vegas, Nevada, and 9th place in the X-Games in 2010. Garrett Reynolds is also a BMX professional rider, but he is from Toms River, New Jersey. He started competing when he was just 14 years old. He won the Taz Tour and earned the term 'professional' one year later. He also took the Simpel Sessions Championship.
