This indoor stadium would also be used for staging live shows and concerts. The multipurpose outdoor stadium is designed for sports like football and rugby, as well as track-and-field events. An outdoor hockey stadium with a capacity to hold 5,000 people has also been designed. An Olympic size swimming pool is also part of the set up.
The residential aspect of the DSC is varied and widespread. It has homes along the waterfront, homes along a canal built using different cultures of architecture, high-rise apartment buildings, and for the golfing enthusiast, a community comprising of villas along the golf course.
