Biometric Gun Safe Equals Better Security
How many times have you woken from a sound sleep in the middle of the night and not known what woke you? Did a sudden noise wake you? You are not really sure because it is quiet now as you are laying there. But then, all of a sudden, you hear somebody walking around in your living room!
You have to do something! OK,
lets call the cops first. Good idea. Next, lets get our gun. That's right, it is in our gun safe in the closet. We scurry over to the closet as quickly as we can without making any noise. We pull out our gun case and try to remember the combination or try to find the key in the dark so we can open it and get our gun out. Not real easy to do when you are in such a stressful predicament.
Now, doing something has become a whole lot easier. Of course you still call the police first but then all you have to do is reach under your bed, slide your biometric gun safe out, place your finger on the pad and watch the safe open immediately. Reach inside and you have your weapon in your hand before you even got out of bed.
We have probably seen biometrics technology being used in a movie or on TV. Someone wants to enter a room and they have to have their eye scanned. The scanner will "read" the eye and then look for matches against the stored information it has. This is biometrics. Fortunately for all of us it is becoming common technology and is a real advancement that helps us secure our guns and valuables.
The safe is designed to accept a certain number of different fingerprint patterns that we, as the owner or administrator, authorize. When access to the safe is desired the user places their finger on a scanner pad. The safe reads the details of the fingerprint and compares them to the prints that have already been authorized. If it detects a match the safe will open in less than a second!
Who would have thought that some day this technology would be available to the masses? We can only guess the different ways this technology will be used in the future.
We are fortunate that one of the first uses of this technology for the general public is on gun safes. We do not have to worry about our children finding some way to get into our old style safe. You know they almost always succeed with very unhappy consequences. We have seen the results in the news too often.
Keep your family as safe as possible and replace your old gun safe with a new biometric gun safe. You will not have to worry about unauthorized access. The only people that will be permitted to open it are the ones that you designate.
Sure, it is vital that you can grab your gun as quickly as possible in an emergency. The biometric gun safe permits this. Just as important, it prevents the gun from reaching the hands of a child.
After all, security is what it is all about.
