Keyword research and analysis is one of the most important activity in the process of optimizing a website. It should be performed on the basis of their daily and monthly count on major search engines, their popularity and their traffic driving consistency. The keywords are then meticulously placed in the site such that the density of these targeted keywords is optimal.

it is extremely necessary that the On-page search engine optimization is performed targeting the relevant keywords.
The research for keywords should be performed on the basis of their daily and monthly count on search engines, their popularity and their traffic driving
consistency. The keywords are then meticulously placed in the site such that the density of these targeted keywords is optimal. Over usage of keywords should be avoided as this may lead to banning the site by search engines. Below mentioned tips are helpful for optimal keyword research of the site.
1) Search Count: Search Count plays very important role for the Keywords research in a particular niche. The targeted keyword should have an ample amount of search count. If large number of keywords are targeted, it should be distributed in different pages of your website. Targeting same keyword for the pages is not advisable. They should be uniformly distributed throughout the website. Content on the pages should contain optimal density of these keywords and should be used effectively such that no spamming appears.
2) Highlight keywords: Search Engines prefer Header tags and therefore putting the targeted keyword in header tags is a very beneficial. But care should be taken as too many header tags in a single page can be regarded as spam. So ideally 1 header tag, two header tag and two header tags with relevant targeted keywords is advisable for a webpage. Also the other keywords can be highlighted using
or html tags. This tells search engines that the words are important and the page has been targeted using them.
3) Keyword density: Optimal density of keywords forms integral part of web page content and directly effects search engine rankings. Maintaining a proper keyword density throughout the webpage is essential. Too much use of keyword can be fatal and are considered as spamming. Maximum 2 to 3 times a primary keyword should be used for every 100 words in a webpage. It should also be uniformly distributed and should not be concentrated at the same spot.
A proper implementation of keywords in a webpage can be very effective in search engine optimization. Research should be made before implementing, as improper use of keywords can be fatal for the site.
