A few tips on choosing a website designer
When choosing a company to design and host your website, it is important to pick the correct one. When scouring the internet, you will be bombarded with flashy websites offering you the world for varying amounts ranging from about £100 up-to £750 for a website with just typically 3 or 4 pages usually a home page the first page that appears when visitors visit your site, a content page with information about your site services, prices, etc. and a contact page so visitors can contact you.
Trends is showing that more people are surfing the net using their mobile phones and tablets, so its very important that your website is what's known as responsive.
What is responsive, well its a website that is designed in such a way that it responds to the device it is being viewed on, the layout is re-organised, so the text, images, menus are easier to read. If you had a website which was not responsive viewing it on your desktop computer at home would look, fine but imagine trying to fit everything which is on your 17” monitor into a 3” mobile phone screen without re-organising it, the text would be so small you would not be able to read it.
When choosing a domain name its important you choose carefully, always pick a name that is easy to remember and is short in length, try and use a keyword in the name, here are a few examples https://www.web-uk.co.ukthis is a website about web hosting in the uk its not ideal for search engines as the name does not contain the word hosting, but it is ideal for people to remember easily, as they only need to remember web-uk part.
www.google.com
www.bing.com all nice and short.
Here is a few examples of bad ones.
www.consecutivelyrepetitoryunclustering.space/
www.drivelinglyaverroistassignability.site/
try and remember those two and then type it into the address bar bet you you don't type it right first time.
