It has been said that there is an obesity epidemic here in the United States. If so, what is causing it?

It seems that there are more people nowadays than ever who are experiencing increased excess weight. Forty five years ago the writer had this difficulty and knew it was shared by some. But,Why are there so many more today who are overweight? Articles the number today seems far more great than it ever was. What is more is that it also seems to be prevalent in Europe as well. What is causing it? If there is nothing organic, such as contamination of the water supply,  there must be something attitudinal. This must be the cause  of so many simply ignoring the signs of increasing poundage. These signs include, but are not limited to, a tightening of one's belt or jeans and an increase of flab around the middle. It seems that in the past these signs simply resulted in people going on diets to lose the weight. Generally, they occurred after the Christmas season which really started a few days prior to Thanksgiving. The explanation for the January excess was quite simple : two months of too many sweets, too many heavy meals and too little exertion resulted in the sad excess.Getting back on track was more commonplace back then. People just did it, knowing that that was what they needed to do. If they did not do it, things would be out of control by March, and that was simply an intolerable thought. Why this does not happen more today is curious.Possibly in part it is due to a widespread belief that increasing weight is due to genetic factors. This causes a reliance on science to find a way to alter body chemistry and thereby take care of the problem. Consequently, it may be that we all are expecting that a cure for excess weight in pill form is just around the corner. Perhaps there is some degree of truth in this. But whatever happened to the good old -fashioned cures of simply eating less while exercising more? Besides, we all should know by now that testing for any new health product takes a considerable amount of time.It may be that the tried and true old fashioned cure has simply gone out of style with the development of science. To be sure, there have been pharmacological advances here in the United States that are unequaled the world over. This is good, to be sure. It has resulted in the decrease in serious conditions, which left unchecked years ago, could have resulted in severe disorders or even death. But how many of these conditions could have been avoided by merely adhering to a regular exercise routine and less caloric diet? Surely that old-fashioned way of living right through the holiday periods could have resulted in far less excess weight. Can it be that we are all waiting for some miracle pill to be produced in a major drug company? If so, we may need to give the scientists a break.Get wealthy while getting healthy. It's the wise thing to do.http://www.trumpnetwork.com/earlclemens
