Wallets are one of the most essential everyday items we carry. We use our wallets for paying for lunch, buying the morning paper, a soda, paying for a taxi or perhaps flashing your ID at the front door of your favorite night club. Yet surprisingly most people don’t see this as a fashion item. Nothing could be further from the truth guys.

Think about it, this is one of the few items our friends, colleges and even complete strangers see single everyday, the same wallet everyday. Its not like you wear the same shirt everyday is it? Next we should consider quality. Here is an item that gets used a lot, I mean A LOT. If you wear the same pair of pants every single day for a year, they are not going to last long are they. So it’s important we choose a material that is durable or will wear well over time (unless you’re happy buying wallets every six months). A simple black or brown leather wallet is very impressive and goes along with a range of dress styles. A leather wallet, if kept well, will also develop its own character over time. Although cow leather is the most common on the market, you’ll also find wallets made exotic leathers. Ostrich leather for example is full of natural oils and makes for an elegant men’s wallet. But it doesn’t stop there, if you want to stand out from the crown or simply want to get a3ay from the same old factory mass produced gear in all department stores, then get online and look for handcrafted stuff.
