Raspberries are delicious,How to Get Rid of Raspberry Stains Articles but they can create a stubborn stain on clothing, upholstery and carpeting. The unsightly red stain won't come out easily but you can try at least to make the task easier than it could be if using regular cleaning techniques. One thing that can really save you some troubles is the time. Act quickly and treat the raspberry stain as soon as possible in order to prevent the stain from setting. Once you are ready, follow these tips to get rid of the offending spot.Instructions
  1. To remove raspberry stains from carpeting and upholstery, mix 2 tablespoons of dish-washing detergent with 2 cups of cold water. Pour the mixture directly on the stain. If you have some non-bleach laundry detergent available, you can use it instead of the dish-washing one, according to cleaners Cuddington.
  2. Use  a nylon brush to scrub the stain gently out of the upholstery or carpet fibres. If the carpet or upholstery is made of delicate materials, sponge the stain instead of scrubbing it.
  3. Absorb the excess moisture from the affected area with a clean cloth or paper towels and repeat the process until the stain is gone.
  4. If the stain turns out to be too stubborn, try a solution of 1 tablespoon of ammonia and 2 cups of water. Once the raspberry stain has been removed, rinse thoroughly with plain water.
  5. To get rid of raspberry stains on clothing, soak the fabric in cold water with some non-bleach laundry detergent dissolved in it.
  6. For persistent stains, scrub the spot with a cup of white vinegar and rubbing alcohol.
  7. Wash the clothing as usual.
Note: Do not combine ammonia with bleach, as this creates hazardous gas. If you cannot remove the raspberry stains on your own, simply call cleaners Custom House and they will take care of the problem.
