You know what it is like.

You have a regular day job which sucks up more of your time that it should. You have family commitments and you want to spend more time with them (not stuck in front of a computer),How to Find Time to Set Up an Online Home Business Articles you have a few hobbies that help you relax and the lawn needs cutting and the kids need help with the homework and there's that good TV series that you like to watch and there is still that shelf that you promised you would put up in the spare room last year... the list goes on.

Phew, we're all busy. So how is there time to start an online home business?

Can you really depend on just one salary or income stream? What if, for no fault of your own, your salary was reduced next month or, even worse, you lost your job?

Now is the time to set up an online business - but how do you find the time?

Make an appointment with yourself to spend an hour each day managing your online business. So that it 7 hours a week. It does not have to be the same time each day and sometimes it might be more and sometimes it is less.

Make a list of the tasks that need to be done and tick them off as you go along. This will prove to you that you are getting things done, rather than floundering around and trying to start things but jumping from task to task and not really achieving anything.

Aim to spend 80% of the time is getting tasks actually done and 20% getting training or gaining knowledge. However, when you first start your online business, it does tend to be the other way around.

Try getting up a little earlier - it does not have to be by hours but perhaps an extra 30 minutes each day to gain a little extra time in the morning.

Can you find 30 minutes during the day whilst a the day job? Maybe at lunchtime, sitting somewhere that has free wifi (most coffee shops do these days - you just may have to buy a cup of coffee for the privilege). Also, at the end of the normal working day you may find a spare half hour. Remember with your own online business, you can work anywhere - as long as you have a laptop and access to the internet

Record TV programmes that you like to watch. You can always get to them later.

Yes, it is tough at the start of any new home-based online business and some other things do get neglected especially if you have a regular full time job. So you do have to prioritise. But you will have more time (and money!) in the future as your online system becomes more successful and automated.
