Ambit Energy today named Scott Lawrence as its Vice President, Field Development. Mr. Lawrence will be responsible for the development, training and support of Ambit Energy’s independent sales organization
Mr. Lawrence has more than ten years of experience in sales, advertising, marketing and operational support within the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Ambit, Mr. Lawrence was Executive Vice President at a competitive local exchange carrier where he led sales, marketing, vendor management and new product development. Mr. Lawrence was also a key member of the management team at Excel Communications where he focused on developing and implementing marketing and e-commerce initiatives to support the company’s large base of independent representatives.
“Scott has played an integral part in Ambit’s launch and corporate business presentations. He will now focus even more on the growth and development of our independent sales channel,” said Chris Chambless, Ambit Energy’s Chief Marketing Officer. “In addition to his great experience, Scott brings an energy level and contagious enthusiasm that will immediately excite our entire sales organization.”
