Dennison Commercials is named the UK’s Franchised Dealer of the Year, after providing haulage companies with excellent sales and aftersales customer service.
Award season is here and the honours keep on rolling in! In mid-November, the Commercial Motor Awards were held in Birmingham, where this year’s winners were announced. I’m happy to report that Dennison Commercials received the prestigious Franchised Dealer of the Year award.
The Dennison group is a Northern Ireland-based Volvo Truck & Bus dealer that sells lorries to haulage companies, freight forwarders and other esteemed customers.
What Are the Commercial Motor Awards?
In case you haven’t heard about this ceremony, let me give you the run-down. The Commercial Motor Dealer Awards is an annual event that recognises the efforts of the best dealers and bodybuilders, as well as rental, leasing and contract hire providers, in both new and used vehicle sales and after-sales. It is a celebratory night that allows attendees and entrants to showcase their success, while also enabling haulage companies to network and forge new business relationships.
Those who are finalists for the prize in one of the twelve categories receive terrific brand exposure, as the award proves that they stand out from their competitors, work hard and have achieved great success within the industry.
The Franchised Dealer of the Year Award
One of the ceremony’s most sought-after rewards, the Franchised Dealer of the Year Award, celebrates dealerships of all sizes that have shown exceptional success in commercial vehicle sales, customer service and after-sales support over the past year.
A panel of independent judges assesses each company based on customer satisfaction, analysing the quality of the services in finance, insurance and warranties. The winner will have demonstrated high levels of customer satisfaction and built a solid and above-the-mark relationship with the manufacturer.
Dennison Commercials’ Achievement and Reactions
Dennison Commercials is Volvo Truck & Bus’ most distinguished and well-known dealer in Northern Ireland. As they always put their customers first, providing haulage companies with fleets that best suit their needs, they have successfully increased Volvo’s market share in Northern Ireland by 30%. Thanks to the Dennison Group, Volvo is now the largest manufacturer in the region.
They sell both new and used vehicles, as well as renting commercial trucks. Most importantly, customers appreciate their all-inclusive after-sales services, which consist of fully-equipped workshops, a parts counter and a special body shop in every one of their depots. With specialist staff, their number one priority is to provide their customers with the best possible experience… and they’ve been successful! A recent survey showed that nine out of ten customers were ‘Very Satisfied’ with their service.
It is this great feedback from clients that earned them the Franchised Dealer of the Year Award. Commenting on this success, Managing Director John Jenkins said that the company was “truly overwhelmed” at having received such recognition, and that the award “pays a testament to the dedicated staff”.
Supplying to Even More Haulage Companies
Having proven that they can provide a brilliant level of customer service that helps their clients through the sales and after-sales process, this award is sure to prompt even more haulage companies to buy lorries from this esteemed dealer in the future!
