The boss who get easily angry with lie of the subordinate also get pleased with lie if it come in the form of flattery......
Why people easily get angry when they come to know that someone is attempting to tell a lie to them? It is very common that parents do get angry when children tell lie. Is the lie triggers anger or the anger is an independent emotion and it has nothing to do with ‘lie’. Is only the brain recognizes the lie and hence the brain (mind) alone is responsible for the cause of anger?
If the brain recognize the lie and thereby people get angry means why the same brain entertain lie if it comes in the form of flattery, fictions & stories, hope, faith, fortune telling etc., Why the anger that appeared in the form of frustrations quickly cools down with such farce or lies. Is the brain really not recognizing such lies?
Human mind is known to operate mainly through two important doors (domains) viz., ‘lie’ and ‘ego’. When the ego meets lie, confusion and commotion become the counter product and when ‘lie meet lie’, there is marriage between lies and hence full of celebrations & joy.
When people operate from ego and if they encounter lie or lying people, they definitely get angry. The ego of people never allows the lie of others. Ironically the ego centre co-exists with the centre of lie or may even exist together in every one of us.
When people conduct themselves as parent or teacher or boss or senior, always their mind operate from ego centre. During such occasion, if they come to know of the fact that the other person is lying, the ego tries to establish its supremacy over lie and hence it seek/invite the support an emotion called –anger. That is how people get angry.
When people become hopeless and frustrated, their mind generally operates from the domain of lie as the mind wants to escape from the truth. During such occasion, the mind will find solace and peace only from hope, fortune telling, flattery and self praising etc. When the lie is dominant, it tends to suppress or surpass the ego. In the kingdom of lie, the emotion called anger has only a little role to play and that is why the brain although it knows the fortune telling or flattery to be lie, but still it enjoys instead of getting angry.
When people move along with peer groups or with friends, only lie & pretentions and not the ego occupy the centre stage. Hence, people seldom get angry even if people around them tell lies.
The entire discussion is not meant for the purpose of elaborating the structure and working style of mind and its two major domains such as centre of lie and centre of ego, but to understand how one is working with different situations and people.
Getting angry although may be needed sometime, but the ego domination certainly will do nothing. Open the third domain called ‘wisdom centre’ where you will not get affected by lie either positively or negatively and hence you will not release ‘anger energy’.
