In this article; the author tells us his experience of buying Nike SB Dunks. Unfortunately what he bought proved to be fake ones. Then the author gets some information about identifying the real Nike SB Dunks.
It's really cool to enjoy skateboarding with Nike SB shoes on feet. Skateboard game in TV show is my favorite. For they seem to be very cool,
dangerous and difficult. Playing skateboard with Nike SB shoes on my feet is my dream. Then I got a skateboard and a pair of Nike SB shoes which are the most popular ones for the time being. The Nike SB Dunks were sold at less than $100 in authorized retailers but the great demand has made the price increase to over $1000 now. What' s worse, I feel rather upset because I find that the Nike SB I get is not as comfortable as what the ads has described. Then I was told that I have got a pair of fake shoes on online stores. What a terrible thing! I paid 1oo dollars for them. That money could have bought a pair of genuine Nike SB Dunks. Then I surf on the internet to identify whether they are fake or not.
The first thing is to examine the box of the Nike SB Dunks. The first and second series of Nike SB Dunks are put in an orange box. If the shoes belong to the third series, then their box are in silver, and the label of these shoes are green. And there are also other matches like a sliver box with an orange label, a pink box together with a black label or an orange label, and if the box is in black or purple, then the label is required to be in black. Off-colored boxes can be regarded as a sign of fake Nike SB Dunks.
Then you can remove the shoes from the box. Normally, there should be a clear plastic bag in which the shoes are put in. The bag is resalable, and in it, you can find spare laces for the Nike SB Dunks. If the height of the bag is 13.5 cm and the width is 7.5 cm, then the bag is authentic.
The next step is to check the spare shoelaces in the bag. As to these spare shoelaces, their color should be different from that of those on the Nike SB Dunks.
After checking the laces, you are required to examine and feel the tongue of Nike SB Dunks. If the Nike SB Dunks are authentic, then their tongues should be thick, and they should come in curved "V" or "U" shape. But as to the counterfeits, their tongues are flat as well as square.
Then you can examine the "NIKE" embodied on the back of the shoes. If the shoes are authentic, these letters are required to be thick instead of thin.
Now, examine the trademark "swoosh" on the shoes. The "swoosh" on the fake shoes tend to be obviously thin or thick.
The last step is to turn the shoes over and examine the soles. You can find "NIKE" and the registered trademark sign "swoosh" on the soles of authentic Nike SB shoes.
As to Nike SB Dunks, they are not exactly the same with Nike Dunks. You should bear this in mind. for some sellers, general Nike Dunks are similar to Nike SB Dunks, if you meet such people, don't believe their words. They just want to earn your money.
