The Environmental Protection Grade of Particle Board

In the production of particle board will use glue, the formaldehyde in glue remaining in the board will endanger human health. Long-term living in an environment with excessive formaldehyde concentration can cause obvious damage to people's eyes, nose, and respiratory system or cause skin diseases. Therefore, many countries have made clear regulations on the formaldehyde emission in the wood-based panel product standards.

At present, the level of formaldehyde emission is divided into three levels, E2, E1, and E0:

   1. E0 level; E0 level environmental protection standard means that the formaldehyde emission index of particle board is not more than 5mg/100g.

   2. E1 level; E1 level environmental protection standard means that the formaldehyde emission index of particle board is not more than 9mg/100g.

   3. E2 level; E2 level environmental protection standard means that the formaldehyde emission index of particle board is not more than 30mg/100g.
