The Jeep Wrangler is a long standing vehicle that has been around for a few decades already. New versions have come out through the years and these have experienced several modernizations and improvements. It originated form a World War II vehicle that was called the “Jeep”. Its initial successor was Willy’s Jeep and was later improved and revised into what it is presently called in the year 1987. Every decade,
in 1997 and 2007, new versions came out and were widely received. In between the new version, several improved versions of the one that came out were also released.
The vehicle is huge hit especially for people who like to go spend time outdoors. It is very convenient and offers live axels to those who own them. This means that it is four wheel drive and can basically move about in the brush and outdoors with ease.

The 2011 Jeep Wrangler has many features that were unthinkable when this offroader initially served during World War II. It features removable doors which can be very convenient for times when easy on and off is necessary. Although these times may not be frequent, when the time is needed it can be a life saver. The wheels and tires that come with it are standard for several models. Options range from 16 to 18 inch rims which are usually aluminum. Prospective owners can choose from the different models and they can either swap the wheels from one model to another or they can add a little amount to supplement the bigger wheels. Tires are from Bridgestone and they can be used for off road trips as well as on the highways. They feature black sidewalling with white outlining for the markings on the side. A removable top which comes with the standard model is a soft top but the owner has a choice of getting a hardtop which may be the same color as the body of the vehicle. While the Sport and Rubicon models come with the traditional hard top which has a black splatter coat. The hardtops offer bigger windows and glass than the soft tops.
The Jeep Wrangler offer one of the best in its class when it comes to arrival and departure angles. This means that the front and back approaches are lifted in such a way that they seldom hit or encounter low to mid lying objects. Its clearance is exceptional and it is also lifted high enough to afford water crossing of up to 30 inches. The standard for its engine is 3.8 liters V6 manual transmission with a six speed choice, the additional speeds being that of the four by four options. The Rubicon version is excellent for offroad trips and offer superior features even from the other Jeep Wrangler versions. Its ride is very good for an offroad vehicle and has as much comfort as a car in the streets of the city. It handles like a dream due to the suspension that comes with it.
