Today we explore what makes branding beyond designing a sharp looking logo.
Branding is what sets you apart from your competitors and it is so much more than logo design. Your brand is how potential customers perceive your company and services. This is why it is important that every aspect of your brand communicates your values accurately.
Today I want to touch on a few things that make good branding.
Logo Design
The image and visual representations of your brand start with your logo design. It is crucial that this serves as your foundation and tells consumers what you are about. Not only should the image give off a trustworthy and professional design but it needs to be relevant yo what you are selling. Consider colors, fonts, and overall style when designing your logo. There are many free logo creator tools online but this is my personal favorite.
Marketing Collateral
Aside from your logo, you will need to make sure that all of your graphic design looks appealing and consistent. Things like business cards, social media posts, and websites all need to maintain consistency and send the same message.
Quality Products
This is perhaps the main factor that shapes brand perception. People think of quality products, innovation, and design when they think of Apple. This is because Apple has consistently offered quality and innovative products for years. Think of branding as a reputation, if you offer a quality product consistently over time, consumers will trust your business and form a loyal bond.
Company Culture
In order to produce consistency over time, you will need a strong team to carry your companies mission. The best way to do this is by creating a company culture that fosters quality, trust, and growth. This will allow you to instill your ideas and form a nurturing environment that allows your employees to produce quality products and services over time.
