How to define and differentiate faith, trustf and hope in the corporate world? The true meaning of the above terms.....
Faith, trust and hope, how the corporate employees should define or relate them to their life? If they learn the art of distinguishing them correctly and apply aptly, they will never fall into a state of stupidity, arrogance, self pity or over confidence.
Faith is what one pose on the self. Often we see someone say that ‘yours faithfully’ or ‘I am always faithful’. However, the faith is very temporary or not that stable. When faith is born out of some need or necessity, such faith cannot be genuine. But remember, the faith is born from within. Do not allow false or temporary faith to roost in you as with time, you may become a breeding ground to many quick faiths to born and die. Such unstable inner ecosystem will never allow you to have faith even in yourself.
What is ‘trust’ then? In true sense, trust is nothing but what faith you see in others for you is only called ‘trust’. Trust is always what you see in others and what you feel that they have for you. In most occasions, the ‘trust’ gets shattered purely because people interchange and exchange the meaning of the words trust and belief.
Trust is always situation dependent and has very limited length & breadth. Trust also would survive only in the matrix of time. Concern and confusion are only due to the mismatch in the understanding of the situation before reposing the trust. When trust fails, people blame the situation.
What is hope? Hope is a form of an expectation from the unknown and which is generally futuristic in nature. When people become totally helpless, something born out of the helpless situation and is called ‘hope’. Smart employees know how to convert the hope into confidence and commitment. Simply sitting idle and hoping for a great event to embrace them would be foolish.
Key ingredients of hope should not be the state of helplessness but it should be the faith and trust. The faith and the trust you repose on someone should make your hope possible. Only when you use unadulterated ingredients or raw materials, the quality of the end product shall be superior. Similarly, your right and righteous faith and trust born out of proper understanding and clarity alone will give success and sanctity to your hope.
In animal world, it is difficult to see a confusion or commotion due to such feelings viz., faith, trust and hope or due to conflicts of emotions. They are very true to their feelings and so is their feeling. They largely live in the present, live with limited needs, believe more in the ‘self’, do less anarchy, expect less and finally work more for their needs than for the wants. They are neither greedy, nor jealous and not bothered about what others may think.
The piece of advice is not to live like animals or to follow the life style of animals, but man has to learn the art of how to deal with his emotions certainly from animals.
Being evolved does not mean that man is so advanced and hence he has nothing to learn from other life forms. The true meaning of ‘being evolved’ is that the man alone can see, appreciate and learn many things from animal world and from nature. Every one of us should ask to our inner self that are we truly evolved and are we learning and appreciating the nature and the wildlife.
