The new HTC Legend has now landed on T-Mobile deals, this new Android powered HTC phone offers a 3.2 inch touch screen, the latest Android 2.1 operating software and a 5.0 mega pixel camera.
The HTC Legend is the latest HTC phone to feature the new Android 2.1 operating system and joins the recently released HTC Desire as a smaller alternative.Originally released on Orange and Vodafone deals in late march quickly followed by an O2 launch a couple of days later the HTC Legend has gone on to be released as a SIM Free and unlocked mobile phone as well as its latest network launch on T-Mobile.This fourth network release for the HTC Legend means that there are now even more pay monthly contract tariffs to choose from when trying to match your usage requirements,
it has also added new free gift packages to the portfolio of deals for this latest HTC phone. As mentioned, the Legend is a more compact phone than the previously launched HTC Desire which incorporates a large 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen which dictates a larger size of phone, the HTC Legend slims this down to a pocket friendly 3.2 inches and offers the same great 5.0 mega pixel camera and operating system as well as the new Friend Stream feature which organises all of your online social network friends, contacts and emails into one continuous stream. There are multiple home screens which are able to be customized with short-cuts and application widgets which can be downloaded from the Android Store quickly thanks to HSDPA. The HTC Legend also features the 'chin' design first seen in the previous HTC Hero for which this latest phone is a direct upgrade. The 'chin' acts on two fronts, the first to protect the main touch screen when the phone is placed face down on a surface and secondly to angle the microphone closer to the mouth during conversation for added clarity. The manufacturer has been busy lately and has also released the new HTC HD Mini alongside the HTC Desire and Legend phones, the new HD Mini is a miniaturised version of the HD2 windows powered phone which also incorporates a 3.2 inch screen and makes for a further alternative for those not wanting the Android OS.Further competition comes in the form of the Nokia X6 and Sony Ericsson Vivaz which both feature a 3.2 inch touch screen as well as the new Samsung Wave which incorporates the first ever Super AMOLED display. There are further network launches planned for the HTC Legend with Virgin Mobile and the dedicated 3G network; 3 Mobile still to release this latest Android phone.
