The iPod Shuffle coming from Apple is the second generation iPod digital audio player designed and marketed by Apple Inc. that uses flash memory instead of storing data in the memory. The latest model iPod Shuffle coming from Apple and weighing about 15 grams was introduced in September 2006. The first generation iPod shuffle was designed on January 2006. It can easily load a selection of songs and plays them in random order. The iPod Shuffle model uses "auto fill" feature in iTunes that can select songs at random from the user's music library and copies them into iPod shuffle's memory. On the other side, it has a battery level indicator light and a three-position switch to turn the unit off or set it to play music in order or shuffled.  The second generation iPod Shuffle was released by Apple on September 12, 2007, calling it "the most wearable iPod ever". The new model Shuffle is less than half the size of the first generation model with a measurement of 41.2 x 27.3 x 10.5 mm. It was branded as the "world's smallest MP3 player" by Apple Inc.  The second generation iPod Shuffle from Apple Inc. is able to play MP3, MP3 VBR, AAC, Protected AAC, Audible (formats 2, 3 and 4), WAV and AIFF, meaning that the only iTunes format not supported is Apple Lossless. Apple iPod Shuffle arrives with accessories including a sport case that protects the iPod shuffle from the elements and an iPod shuffle dock that allows easier connection to a computer.
