Advancement in technology has brought about creation of a lot of apps to improve the functionality of our devices. The iPhone 5  just like all its predecessors works really well with applications,Make Your iPhone 5 3D Capable Articles with this in mind a group of Singapore based researchers have come up with a way to turn a 2D phone or device and make it 3D capable. Actually the developed a special film that turns the devices screen into a 3D capable display, this film is known as the EyeFly 3D film. The film looks like a normal screen protector but actually consists of 500,000 miniaturized lens-like structures that measure about one-thousandth the width of a human hair. When it is applied to the device, the filter works with the committed iOS to bring up a stereoscopic 3D content for playback. I find that really cool because it’s not every day that you get to watch a 3D clip on your mobile device, now this is what I call advanced technology. Nanovue which is a startup set up to bring the EyeFly 3D to market, is tirelessly working on apps to convert existing 2D content to stereoscopic 3D. Who knows, maybe in future we won’t even need the 3D film the device 2D to 3D conversion will totally be software based. Now we don’t have to actually purchase a 3D device which actually comes to the market with an additional cost, thanks to the researchers a 2D device will do just fine considering you can convert it 3D that is.
However, many apps and hardware installments in the market do have their negative effects on the devices at time. The 3D film’s drawback is that it made the iPhone 5’s retina display seem like it had a lower resolution due to the text and icons appearing to have jagged edges. Posting a retail price of $34.95, the 3D film is within no doubt more affordable than buying a 3D phone such as the LG Optimus 3D Max to view 3D content. The EyeFly 3D film is now available for preorder online, with worldwide shipping costs inclusive until May 1.The film will be in stoes near you pretty soon since the Nanovue is currently working with distributors to supply EyeFly 3D to physical stores in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Thailand and Singapore.  This will definitely make the iPhone 5 fanatics really excited their dream phones coupled up with a device to make it 3D capable, that’s just pure bliss. Spending large sums of cash to buy a 3D device is totally out of the question. The Nanovue daringly and yet so artistically made all this possible for the many, we will now be able enjoy watching stuff on our iPhone 5 devices, I know I definitely will. At the moment, the models available for preorder are compatible with the iPhone 5 and fifth-gen iPod Touch therefore having an iPhone 5 will be a huge advantage since the other smartphones are yet to be made 3D capable. I still wasn’t sure about the iphone 5 but after learning all this I surely will get myself one as well, I don’t want to miss out on the feeling of watching stuff on the device in 3D.
