The built in five mega pixel digital camera does a great chance of taking high quality still images thanks to its pixel resolution of 2592x 1944, and also features Autofocus and an LED flash.  Users also have the option to shoot video in WVGA quality at a rate of 15 frames per second.  Geo-tagging is included which automatically records the location at which a photo was taken on a map, thanks to GPS with A-GPS support.

A wealth of entertainment feature makes the HTC Desire an appealing all rounder for everyday use. These features include a versatile internal media player which supports many different formats of both music and video files. Additional entertainment features include a number of pre-installed games along with a stereo FM radio player with RDS. Social networking integration is a large part of the appeal of this handset, with dedicated FaceBook and Twitter applications. Android 2.1 is the operating system of choice, and thanks to a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, provides a fast user experience and runs demanding supplications with ease.
