In September 2012, one of the world's leading MBA schools, the London Business School launched the largest campaign it has ever undertaken, with a goal of £100M.

In September 2012,A school that impacts on the way the world does business Articles  London Business School launched the largest campaign in its history with a £100M budget. This campaign will  serve to support the School’s world-class research, academic programs and innovative new facilities.

The Corporate, Trust and Foundation team at London Business School has recently secured the most significant corporate funder in the School’s history.  This post account manages the School’s largest corporate funder, collaborating closely with the academics and staff working in the Deloitte Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and with Partners and employees of Deloitte.  As a senior person within the Corporate Trust and Foundations team the post holder will also work with team members to exploit opportunities for fundraising growth, setting good foundations in place and in identifying a suite of fundable initiatives within London Business School.

Specifically the role will include:

The ability for the school to act as the key account manager for Deloitte ensuring that sponsorship benefits are delivered in a timely, creative and efficient manner
the possibility of Working with existing funders, sponsors and corporate partners to develop their relationship with London Business School
the freedom to secure and manage further 6/7 figure levels of support for priority projects across the School
Working with the Associate Director of Corporates, Trusts and Foundations to ensure that London Business School has a strong program of engagement and a way of measuring activity with Deloitte

It is the Vision of London Business School to have a profound impact on the way the world does business not only through the qualified MBA graduates it produces and the effective leadership it instructs but also through this new scheme.

The department:

Advancement encompasses Alumni Relations and Development. Its purpose is to lead on the development and enhancement of the London Business School community.  The group’s key activities are managing the relationship with the alumni, and fundraising from individuals, corporations, foundations and trusts by developing and leveraging proactive and long term relationships with these constituents. To achieve this, the Department works closely with external bodies and internal departments, such as the Dean, Governing Body, faculty, MBA students, staff, alumni, friends, corporations, foundations and others. Members of the Advancement department at all levels have a major role to play in the success of the School’s advancement efforts by working to build important relationships and promote the image of the School.

The individual:

You are a target-driven and proactive fundraiser who is confident in developing and maintaining relationships at a senior level.  Your proven track record in securing and managing 6/7 figure gifts and sponsorships and your exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills will be integral to your success in the role.
